Since 1994, Valérie and Philippe DENIS have opened the doors to their little corner of paradise, in the heart of the Valley de la Maurienne. Located at the northern entrance to the village (from which it takes its name), the Hôtel du Nord was certainly one of the former Post Offices of the commune. Today, it is a charming and independent hotel, where a family and friendly atmosphere is offered.

Whether you visit us during your motorcycle or bicycle roadtrip, before your winter sports vacation, to make a stopover on the road from Italy or in order to discover the Maurienne Valley, we warmly welcome you!

Quelle bonne idée j'ai eue de passer la porte de ce restaurant. Accueil sympa dans une belle salle voûtée, magnifiques assiettes pour des produits frais et une cuisine de qualité préparée par le patron. Vraiment je recommande.

Une adresse à garder ! Les chambres sont très bien et bien équipées. Le rapport qualité prix est parfait. Excellente surprise pour la table qui est de qualité. La cuisine est originale et élaborée. Tout y est, le goût la présentation et le service. Une adresse où aller les yeux fermés

Valérie, Philippe and their team are known for their sympathy and their good tourist advice. It is at the reception, of our 2-star hotel in St-Jean-de-Maurienne, that you can communicate with them, in French, in English, in German, in Spanish and in Italian.

Reception hours: Monday: 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. / Tuesday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. / Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. / Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Comfortable rooms

In our 2-star hotel, we offer our travelers 19 rooms which can accommodate one to three people. Check-in takes place from 2 p.m. and check-out, before 11 a.m..

On request, we can lend you a free baby bed and/or an extra bed for a child, up to 12 years old (€12/night).
